STAFF

Stacie A. Hirsch, MA,CCC-SLP is the founder and Executive Director/Program Coordinator for TRAK.  She holds a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee (class of 1995), a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, and is a NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Registered Instructor.  Stacie provided therapy to a wide range of disabilities at the University of Tennessee Medical Center (inpatient, outpatient, home health), collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.  She also worked at Sevier County and Scott County Schools in Contained Developmental Classrooms.  Stacie has 26 years of experience with horses, and is passionate about children.  She is the proud mother of two, Alise and Michael.

Catherine M. Pethel, RN, has over 18 years of nursing experience.  As  a public speaker on nutrition & health, Cathy demonstrates the culinary art of vegetarian cooking.  She is an avid horse lover/owner and  has been riding horses since she was five years old.  She is the mother of three children and the grandmother of two.  She dedicates her time to fundraising for TRAK.

Carolyn Hansen, B.S., in Behavioral Science/Social work & Psychology, has 11 years of medical social work experience, 14 years of experience as a community service volunteer, and 8 years of experience as Director of the Community Service Program.  She has worked for 7 years in oncology/hospice, and 7 years as a medical assistant for a doctor's office.  She has been around horses for many years, attended the English Riding Academy, and is a proud horse owner.

Kimberly Mitchell, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech-language pathologist, specializing in pediatrics, and has 12 years of experience.  She was raised with ponies/horses, and has a devoted interest in using her time and talents to the betterment of children.

Jayne Strickland, Business and Marketing, has volunteered her time to developing goals for TRAK. 

Jordan Peterson, Equine Coordinator/Director, is a certified NARHA Instructor with over 20 years of horse experience and 7 years working with NARHA barns.
