Michaela started with TRAK last year. She needed a wheel chair for long distances and a walker to get around because her legs were so tight and she had poor balance. Since Michaela started working with TRAK we have seen huge improvements in her balance. At first it would take the whole session before her legs relaxed, now it takes only part of the time. In March, Michaela went to a sitting clinic to make sure adjustments on her wheelchair were correct. Michaela showed them how well she was walking all by herself without her walker or wheelchair. The Doctor said let's go for it and let her walk by herself. He credited a big part of her improved balance to her participation in TRAK. Michaela is currenly working hard on being able to improve her independent walking with TRAK. Without TRAK, Michaela would not have made such quick and great progress!!

"My son, Henry Thomas, started going to TRAK when he was just three years old. At the time, he had only been walking a few months and had terrible balance issues. We were amazed at how quickly he progressed and saw changes each time he came to TRAK. Now, 5 years later, it is still a favorite weekly event. Stacie, Jorda, and the TRAK volunteers have become an important part of our lives. We hope to spend more years with TRAK, and look forward to the progress he will make."
"TRAK has been very rewarding for Alex, not only therapeutically but socially as well. We have seen a lot of improvement in his balance and walking abilities. It's fun for him to be able to be outside riding horses. The kindness and caring nature of the staff and volunteers is heartwarming to see. We feel fortunate to have found this great group of people to help us help our son." Leslie Stewart
